How time flies. The EGUNEC Education Support Foundation celebrates its 1st year anniversary on the 6th of April 2014, at the Casalinda Hotel and gallery Resort, 6, Takwa crescent, Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja.

It is a not for profit Educational support foundation. And in just 1 year, they have embarked on numerous projects to enhance quality education, targeting most especially the less privileged in our society. Sponsoring poor kids through school, donating free books to local school libraries and even organising seminars, workshops and vocational training sessions for young adults. Partnering with corporate organisations, agencies, civil society groups, EESF is largely committed to the development of goals that support the need for every child to have the opportunity of gaining a high standard of education, irrespective of their social background and for young people to be engaged in one skilled training or the other instead of sitting idly or aimlessly because of lack of mentorship or resources.

This is a fantastic initiative, and I encourage everyone to support education in whatever sphere of influence they find themselves.
