Happy New Year guys. LOOOOOL. I know some people are saying (igba yi la ro) Yea well. They say whenever you wake up is your morning.
I am grateful for the past year 2014. I went through a major life change that I think I’m probably still recovering from. Maybe I’ll discuss it on here sometime. Maybe.
Anyway in 2014 I got to do almost all I set out to do at the beginning of the year. So I guess that’s good stuff. The blog was also up and running. Several guest writers, fun series. Notable will be Saka Diaries, Love of my life series and the several Short stories. Epic stuff.

It’s taken me days or even weeks to write this post. Yes, I have written posts for way longer before. But seeing that this one is a 2015 Welcome sort of post I am shocked at how long it has taken me. Somedays, there is no time to even open my computer, let alone type. That’s how much my life has really changed.

Today though, I opened my dashboard to try and add a few more lines to what I had previously typed and noticed a notification that I’ve been running this site for exactly 3 years. So Congratulations and Happy Anniversary to eclectictope.com. I better finish the post tonight then.
Many thanks to you all. For being steadfast. For all your comments and emails. I hate commenting on blogs or other online forums so I know and appreciate the effort you guys make. I see all you silent but very consistent readers too. Sorry for the silence. This writing business is not as easy as it looks. It’s you guys who push me to keep writing.
In 2014 I did a course on Writing, and I remember my instructor saying if you have no audience, no matter how great your writing is, you are just writing to air. So thanks people. I deeply appreciate it. I should ship you all to one of those exotic islands for a weekend to sip champagne and play on the beach, but err well y’all are scared of water. NO?

I have a major 2015 project I hope to share with you all when it finally comes to fruition. So fingers crossed guys.
To be honest, I don’t have series and posts lined up per month for 2015. I haven’t written any short story lately, I haven’t contacted any guest writer and the first month is nearly over. Maybe there will be a love series as usual this February. Maybe Saka will continue his gist about living in America. One thing is for sure, that inspiring, entertaining and debate inducing posts will still come from this platform. I know the year will be an exciting one. Tell your friends to join the band wagon of this site now while its still very open to all. Let no one come and famz me later. I know my readers oo. :p

I pray that 2015 is an amazing year for us all. I pray that all our dreams come to realisation. Take your resolutions seriously if you made any. Exercise, eat less, travel, pray more, be kind. Do something new. Most of all be YOU.
